Afternoon in LCC

Spent the afternoon in Little Cottonwood Canyon today. Have been 25 minutes from this place for almost 5 months and this was the second time I was there, not OK! I guess I've dragged my body to other places during this time, but still.

75F(25C) is pretty damn hot for a Scandinavian man like me, so I mostly sat around, drinking PBR and throwing banana peels at people.

And "people" think Kjugekull is sharp.

Weekend in Joe's Valley

Another visit in Joe's Valley this weekend. We ran in to Isaac Caldiero with his brand new guidebook (joesvalleyguidebook.com), which is a great surprise. Even if it's as easy to find a boulder in Joe's, as it is to find a Mormon in Provo, we are glad to OWN one for our next visit - to help us find ALL of the 300 new problems that this book includes.

Climbing-wise it felt pretty good. I have been sick since the last time we were there, which has been about 2 weeks. I did a couple of V9's, "Two finger variaton", "Poon" aka. "Poor King", and a V10 called "Freak". I would recommend all of them IF you're not too freaked out by the movie.
